Kaiser challenge.......

In between painting my walls I have managed to do a layout for the Kaiser Sketch challenge January #4.
Just in time:)

I have rotated the sketch anti clock wise.

Tori has pretty blue eyes.........I wanted to high light them so, for my layout I used lots of the pretty blue paper from the 'Miss Nelly collection , with just a touch of green. "You" is from an older collection.......I can't remember the name of it. It is great that Kaiser is now selling card stock.....it coordinates perfectly with all their pattern papers. I have used it to Mat the photo. I have used glimmer mist to add colour to the back ground, I think you can just pick it up in the photo.

Ok.......I must go , its not to long before the kids get home from school, I need to get another coat on a few walls.
I think the rain has stopped............yay my paint will dry faster:)

Have a fabulous week
So happy you stopped by

Sand and Surf

Hope everyone has had a great weekend.......mine has been very busy.
I decided I didn't like the colour of the walls in my house, so I've started painting again. I say again because this is something I often do..........I get all these new ideas that I just have to do straight away. I'm very lucky to have a husband who is quite happy for me to paint..........:)
I still have  quite a bit to do......  lucky I completed this layout last week.

This is Kaiser Sketch January #2

I have use the " Seaside Collection"

The banner is cut from Martha Stewart 'All Occasion cake art'..every thing else is kaiser.

Can you see the foot prints behind the sentiment? These are mine:) How perfect is this kaiser rub on for my photo!

I really appreciate you stopping bye

See You Soon

It is still raining here.......  so over it! Hoping for some sunshine soon, but the forecast does not look good for the next week. Thinking on the positive side.....it perfect weather to stay inside and craft.

Sports Mania
Everyday Pop-Up Cards

I have the one's Highlighted.

From 'Love you a Latte' I made this Tea pot card.

And check out my CUTE monster:)

I've had the 'Best of Pixar' cartridge for a while now.......this is the first time I've used it, I loved how it turned out.
If you would like the details of my monsters please head over to SGL. (The post is not up yet....Mandy is in Germany, I'm sure she will publish soon.)

I Am ME.............

I really enjoy taking part in the sketch challenges at Kaiser............I thought January week 1 was the perfect sketch to use some of my Kaiser scraps.

 LOOK
I had the perfect photo..........Matt loved walking around with 'Tweety' on his head.

The only thing that is not Kaiser is the Banner, which I cut using Martha Stewart "All Occasion Cake Art"....This cartridge has a really COOL Banner feature on it!

Did You Know?

On the  Scrappy-Go-Lucky Blog  Mandy is challenging us to use all those Cricut cartridges we collect. The challenge runs weekly .........The winner is chosen at random - the prize is a voucher to the "Scrappy-Go-Lucky" store.
For more details go HERE.

I'd like to show you a sneak peak of a Layout I created using the only cartridge I had for the challenge this week............Wall Decor and More.

Head over to SGL to see my layout.

The kids are back at school on Monday..........I will then have a lot more time to craft . I am so disorganised  - The kids finished school a week before the end of term last year so we could leave early on our trip, before the airfares went up for the holidays. It was only yesterday that I went to their school to pick up last years report cards and book requirements for this year. So I'm off to the shops now so they have every thing they need to start the school year...........so last minute!

I look forward to having more time to visit my Blog friends soon

Thankyou so much for visiting me..........Its really nice since I haven't been here for a while:)

Hope to see you join in with Mandy's challenge

Have a great weekend

We had a fabulous time.....Disney Land, Universal Studios and Outlet shopping were a few things we did in LA.
The kids experienced SNOW for the first time  in Canada.........they loved skiing!

And

seeing sites of San Francisco  was awesome!

I thought I'd show you just a few photos ......out of the two thousand I took:)

Its all seems like a wonderful dream now.........how I love fantasy!

Its time to get back to reality:)
