Kaiser Sketch October #4

Hello...........I'm back to show you my take on the Kaiser sketch #4.

I really love this photo....here is my simple layout with soft , pretty colours. I've combined a few kaiser paper collections here.

  

I wanted to create a soft look with some texture for the butterflies in the background..........I don't have any stencils, so I cut myself one using a  transparency sheet and my cricut. I mixed a very pale pink ink with the texture paste.....I really like how this turned out. I think I'll be cutting myself some more stencils :)

Boy meets Girl Scrapbook challenge this month is to add texture to your creation.......I hope this is ok!

Kaiser Sketch #1

Happy Monday to you.....thanks for stopping by :)

On the post before I showed you the layout 'Photo Shoot'...............well , here is the best photo out of quite a few they I took. All the kids look quite natural .....eyes are open and they are smiling!

I'm behind the camera saying....."Can you just behave, all I want is one good photo!" ..... so here it is!

 I have mainly used Kaiser 'Marigold' collection......with a few other bits and pieces from Kaiser.

I'm entering my layout in the Kaiser Saturday Sketch competition

2 layouts.........

Yay.......it the weekend!

I've had  fun scrapping some photos that I took last weekend! We visited me parents place on the Sunshine Coast, it was a beautiful day.......perfect for a Photo Shoot in front of the Bougainvillea, the colours were so pretty!

Now to get 3 teenagers and a 23 year old to cooperate :) ....as you can see they had fun trying!

The papers are from 'Echo Park Beautiful Life' collection.

I followed this sketch from 'The Scrapbook Store'

 

I took this photo later in the afternoon.........love those sun rays filtering through the trees.

Here's a close up of my little flower cluster.

Pretty colours in this paper collection.......last week I was shopping for groceries ,  I saw these paper stacks for $4.99......2 stickers sheets, 1 journalling sheet and 13 sheets of paper, all acid free etc.

Bargain! So, I bought 4 different stacks and no food....ha.........like I really needed any more paper but, they were perfect for this page. The stickers were a bit thin, so I stuck them to card then cut around the shape.

Halloween card

Hello ..................I saw this challenge at the "Scrapbook Boutique" I thought I'd have some fun and play along.

Create a project using the theme 'Halloween' or using the colours Purple, Orange & Black.

What a fun inspiration picture!

Well, I think you can tell what inspired me..........Here is my Big Black glittery spider with googly eyes!

I cut the silver Spider web overlay and Spider from CTMH Art Booking cricut cartridge.

A Layout and Card

Happy Monday to you all...........hope you had a great weekend!

I think I've told you how much I love the Overlays on the Cricut CTMH "Art Booking" cartridge:)

Scrap the Girls has a great challenge for this month......one of the things I needed to do was add Hexagons.

This overlay was perfect!

Here's the requirements and what I've used........

Hexagon - overlay

Squiggle - Butterfly trail and twine

Circle - Buttons

Rectangle - Photo 

Strips - Scallop border on the edge of photo and butterflies underneath

We celebrated my Mums Birthday on the weekend - this is the vintage looking  card I made for her.

 I'm entering my card at "Cards Gallore Challenge Blog" .........the challenge is too add 'FLOWERS'

The sun is shining its a Beautiful day.....Time to get out in the garden before it gets to warm.

Season's Change

Hey everyone,

Time to show you what I have created for the new Die cut challenge at "Stuck on U Sketches"

The theme is anything "Fall"

Here is something different from me...........A Casual Card.

Less is More........isn't that what they say? I have a tendency to just keep adding stuff! But for today I kept it very minimal. I kinda like it for a change :)

 I used Close to My Heart 'Art Booking' cartridge to cut the shape. The top layer is an over lay.......I added the orange card underneath.

What a busy day........! Its nice to be sitting down writting this post!

A few weeks ago Tori and I enjoyed a fun day with Lizzy  and her daughter.......the whole day was spent taking photos at the gorgeous  flower gardens in Toowoomba . The weather was perfect! 

Lots of great photos , so many to scrap..........I've added a few to this layout!

The pretty papers are a mixture of Kaiser and Dear Lizzy. 

Here is the Page Maps sketch I followed......I love their sketches.

I'm writting this post from another computer at the moment........I'm still having problems with mine, I hope it is all sorted soon? Oh no........just found out I need a new one, the hard drive is not working!
