Layout and Card...

Hey There everyone,

Well, over the last 4 days I've found muscles that have not been used for sometime. I've been helping my daughter move into her new house.......so we have been busy cleaning the house and moving furniture.

I started this layout earlier in the week.....today has been the first chance I've had to work on it. I feel like it was a bit of a rushed job, but it needs to be linked up by midnight.....so here's what I came up with. I used Art Booking Cricut cartridge to cut the overlay.

 A few different Kaiser collections have been combined for the colour challenge.

Then I thought......why not try to complete Challenge #5

Create a card that is predominately Green.

I also followed this sketch from "Feeling Sketchy"

I'm so sorry I haven't had a chance to visit and see what you have been creating.....I do plan to play catch up over the next few days.

Hello.............Today I have another layout to show you that I created, using the gorgeous flowers from "Scrappers Garden"

Here are some pretty designs from the Black and White collection.

I love this photo of my three Children taken at their Grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary in Canada.

The pretty papers are Kaiser , 'Best Dressed' was cut from Forever Young cricut cartridge.

I've used 'Ole' cricut cartridge for Fiesta , Sombrero, the Banner and little flowers. Martha Stewart All Occasional Cake Art for the scallop border.

 I created this pretty Tiara/Crown shape card for "Paper Sweeties" inspiration challenge #22

Paper Sweeties is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary........I thought the sentiment was Perfect!

How pretty is this inspiration picture!

The stamped frame and sentiment are "Paper Sweeties". I used Birthday cake art cricut cartridge to make the Tiara shape card.

Time to pull myself out of this craft room and hang a pile of washing......Fun....not!

Good reason to leave the house work and make a card I think:)

My daughter and her partner have  bought a house, they move in a few weeks time.

Summer Dream

 Be inspired by this pretty picture - use a home or garden theme, flowers and colours from the photo.

I really liked the pink window frames, Gold Chandelier and lace curtains.

Can you see the two little love birds sitting on the window frame?

I used French Manor cricut cartridge for the frame and chandelier. Congrats is a 'Paper Sweeties' stamp.

The Shabby Tea Room #231

Let's Have Tea.....is the challenge this week in The Shabby Tea Room

Add Pink, Black, Flowers and Pearls

Some times I just have to try and re-create the inspiration photo.

I used my cricut to make the Cup Cake - Tea Cup Shape card . I used Dreams Come True cartridge for the Tea Cup and Martha Stewart All Occasions Cake Art for the cup cake. I welded the two images together then added all the layers.

Wish my cupcakes looked this Good!

Remember this moment

Hey Everyone,

This is my  second layout as a Guest designer for "Scrappers Garden".

I love all the pretty flowers......the soft earthy tones were perfect to frame this photo of our family,which was taken on a recent holiday. The flowers remind me of the ones we saw in surrounding gardens.

Cut - Colour and Canvas

Hello.......What a Busy Day!

I thought I'd show you what I have been up too :)

This is a photo of my friend Lola with the canvas we completed today. She loved the one I showed you a  few weeks ago that I made in a class with Sue Smyth.....I offered to help Lola do one with a photo of her granddaughter on her wedding day.

So as the title of this post reads .........Cut , Colour, Canvas.......thats exactly what we did!

When her colour was processing Lola used modelling paste and stencils to create the texture in the background. Then we put it in front of a heater to dry , while I rinsed and then cut her hair. 

A great way to use up all your trinkets and junk jewelry!

What a fun day.......Hope yours was good too!

Make Today Beautiful..

Hey Everyone,

I really like how Kaiser Saturday challenge now includes cards! I have quite a few small paper pads that need to be used up.

My first card is for August challenge #1 

Create a Birthday card.

I've used  'Kaleidoscope' collection.

 'Art Booking' cartridge was used to cut both the frames on each card from white glitter paper. ( You really can't see how glittery it is from  photo)

Create a card with.....something Sparkly, an element that is Multidimensional, and

something Floral

I am also entering the sketch challenge at "Feeling Sketchy"

Anniversary Card

 celebrated our 28th wedding Anniversary on the weekend. 

I used 'Art Booking' cartridge to cut the Heart Border and the people....a little stamping , stitching, paint splatters, washi tape and embellishments.

Sunshine and Rainbows

Today I have been giving my Cricut a work out! I've created a cute card for

"The Shabby Tea Room" challenge 

Rainbow and Raindrops

I have used 'Hello Kitty' cartridge for the rainbow shape card and Create a Critter for the sun.

The stamped Sentiment is from Paper Sweeties. The top layer of the cloud is  white glitter paper....its a bit hard to see in the photo. I painted the rainbow with water colour paints.

Here's a Fun Layout of Tori & Matt......We had the best time riding Beach Cruises on our last day in America.
