Oh Happy Day !

Hey Everyone, 

So nice of you to visit! Hope you are having a great week.

I have a few birthdays coming up, so I have been busy making cards.

Its my sisters birthday on Saturday....this is the card I made for her.

First a close up

I used cricut Artfully sent cartridge to cut the card shape and heart banner overlay all in one. Some pretty pattern paper behind it....if you need a card fast this would be perfect!  The flowers and Sentiment banner stamp are from cricut Art Philosophy cartridge

My card........and check out the little box ! I was on Pinterest when I came across this  cute as idea! 

Micro Easel card Box...with a candle to match! 

Such a fun idea!

Its a match box, covered in pretty papers. The candle was yellow, 

it didn't go , so I coloured it orange  with copics. The tiny banner, frame and cake are all stamps from Paper Sweeties.

Over the next couple days I have a few more cards to show you.......Paper Sweeties is celebrating there 3rd Birthday on Saturday, I'll be back then .

My Family

Hey everyone,

I created this layout over a week ago for  White with 1 challenge. 

It has been such a busy week, this is the first chance I've had to post it.

The colour Marsala was a bit of a challenge.....here is what I came up with.

This is a photo of my daughter,  my mum and dad taken on Mothers day.

The brick overlay was cut with cricut Artbooking cartridge, gelatos for the background water colouring, lace , lots of flowers....including pretty white doilies, buttons and a sprinkle of sequins. The large butterfly is a cheery lyn die.

Keeping my fingers crossed, I can spend more time in my craft space this week.

How pretty is this picture!

I've used beautiful papers from Kaiser 'Secret Garden' collection to make my card. The banner is cut from 'Martha Stewart All Occasions cake art' cricut cartridge.....I love the tiny scallop edge :) How cute is the little ceramic bird sitting on the flower cluster.

Look at the mood board for KRAFT PLUS this month

Kraft + Yellow Paint

"Mustard Explosion"

Here is what I came up with

I used a Heidi Swapp stencil to paint on the Yellow hearts, with  paint brushes that I cut from Cricut 'Handyman' cartridge :) Wooden heart and thickers for the title, a little stamping too.

Kaisercraft Monthly challenge

Hey Everyone,

I was so Happy to see that Kaisercraft is posting monthly challenges again! 

I'm not buying anymore papers until I  use up some in my stash!

Here is my layout with an old collection........Lilac Avenue

 A few things in the Mood board inspired me........The pretty colors, the dandelion and the tall trees. This photo was taken last year in "Yosemite National Park" Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias. You can  just see the trunk of one of the trees behind us. This page will sit along side a pocket style page in my album......Thats where I am journalling more details about our trip .

The only items not Kaiser are.... purple crochet doilies, sequins and heart paper clip. I've use cricut cartridge Mothers day bouquet to cut the flowers, then layered them with a pretty doily and kaiser brad.

Cosmopolitan :)

Hope you  are enjoying a great week! 

My week has been quite busy.....its school holidays. I don't think I've had a free day! 

I was out again today for a friends birthday celebration.....I needed to make a card fast.

So with help from this weeks sketch at "Mojo Monday" which is really cool, I managed to make a card in record time!

I used fun papers from'Kaiser'Tropical Punch collection

I made an envelope to match

Hmmm......the card looks like is missing something to me, I usually do some machine stitching ......but time was not on my side!! I was in such a rush I couldn't think !

On the inside of the card I added the 'Cosmopolitan' recipe. My friend was so excited , she had all the ingredients to make the cocktail!

My card

I've embossed the background with 'swiss dots', the Cup Cake girl is mounted on glittery yellow card ( You can't really see it from the photo), perfect pearls around the frame. I really love dying my own seam binding to match the card.

Sketchy Board Challenge

Hi There,
