Birthday Wishes

Hey Everyone,

Its my daughters  20th Birthday today.
This is the card I made for her..........My inspiration came from one of her gifts Marc Jacob "DAISY" So Fresh perfume. A few weeks ago I saved some papers used to sample perfume, they had  the perfume bottle design printed on them.......I thought they would look pretty on a card.
The background overlay was cut with cricut Artbooking and the Flowers with George.
Oh......and a little more perfume added to the paper, the card smells Beautiful, just like a bunch of flowers.

AND
Look who we met today.............It was such a pleasure meeting
'Dear Lizzy' she is so sweet!

At the class there was a paper pack to be won.......I whispered to my daughter " You will win this, its your day........And guess what she did!

Have a great week

True Love

Hello..........After a busy week I've really enjoyed having some time to play in my new craft space. I find myself standing in the middle of the room looking around wondering where I have put stuff.....its so organised!

KC april 16

I have rotated it to suit my photo.
One thing I like about Kaiser papers is its very easy to combine collections.....which I have done here.
This photo was taken the day before my daughters wedding, at the rehearsal... I could not resist having a photo taken with my husband on the double swing.
The two large blue flowers where made by me using 'Mothers Day Bouquet' cricut cartridge.

Happy Weekend Everyone

Thank you Card

Hey Everyone.....I've been enjoying having  time to catch up on some card making. This 'Thank you' card is for a friend who helped me on the day of my daughters wedding with the Hair........I did my two daughters hair ( Bride and Maid of Honor) and she did the other Bridesmaid's Hair.......Most of all she kept me calm , specially when I was having a Brain Freeze, LOL!
Styling a Brides Hair on her wedding day, can be stressful.....but when its your own daughter, OMG!!  Anyway.....they all looked Gorgeous!

I used water colour paper for the background.....I covered an  embossing folder with ink, sprayed it with lots of glimmer mist then pressed the water colour paper on top. A few wooden buttons, a tiny bird and for extra sparkle...sequins!
My inspiration for this card came from the April challenge at 'Paper Sweeties.' The Banner and Thank you stamp are Paper Sweeties.

Thanks so much for visiting.....I'm slowly making my way around to you.
Have a wonderful week

White with a touch of Gold

 Hey Everyone,
It seems like forever since I have created a card......it took me a while to work out what to do? But it slowly came together. My Friends Favorite colour is White.......So I decided to go with "White on White with touches of Gold.

I used 'Wrap it Up' Cricut cartridge for the card shape......In Cricut Craft room I welded rosettes together to form the edge border. 'Art Philosophy' cricut cartridge was used to cut the shape on top of the doily with the coordinating stamp.
Can you see the tiny white candle.....it blends with the background, I think it looks kinda cute! Oh, and I made a tiny paper clay bird sitting on Happy.
Hope You like it Leanne...Happy Birthday

DIY Wedding decorating

Hello Everyone,
My blog has been very much neglected the last few months........As chief decorator for my daughters wedding I have been really busy! Well, She was married on the weekend.......the weather was PERFECT, it was a fabulous day. We still have family visiting from Canada....so over the last few days we have been playing tour  guides.

I'm a little late posting my project for "Sketchy Boards" March challenge.
 How pretty is this photo!

My project using the colours from the photo. This is what I've been doing for the last couple months...making flowers, lots and lots of flowers! My cricut has been getting a major work out :)

I punched lots of gold glitter hearts.

Table number tags with a strip of gold glitter and gold numbers

A little paint on an old suit case, lined with the same paper that I have used on some of the flowers. "Rock Princess" cricut cartridge was used to cut 'CARDS'......love the Hearts on the font!
The Marque Heart is from Heidi Swapp......I covered it in gold glitter too.

My daughters mother in law made the cakes......they are covered in white chocolate, so delicious! More flowers..........."Always & Forever" was cut with my cricut, sorry I  can't remember the cartridge.

My son made the wooden frame, my daughter painted it white...... I made the Giant Heart.
A real family affair!

I've been saving these Jam Jars  for candles for months and months.....love the etched design in the glass. My Husband helped by eating the jam, LOL!  We found the pretty water colour prints on line some where ( when I have more spare time I will add links) to create simple place cards, which coordinated with the invitations. I gave my daughters husband a quick lesson on embossing...As I cut he embossed!

Such a cute Chapel

The Bride and Groom

I hope you have enjoyed all the photos.........by the end of the month things should get back to normal around here, I think I need a Holiday.

It will probably be a few more weeks before I have time to visit you,
Thanks so much for visiting me
