Cyber Challenge....

Hey There,

Last weekend I had lots of fun playing along with a "Cybercrop" at 

D-Lish Scraps.

The first challenge was a "Blind Scrap". We were given instructions to follow at intervals.....I really enjoyed not having think about what I was doing , except for choosing papers. I sure wish every page would come together this quick!

The next challenge was a "Mystery box"

I have used a Doily, Flair button, Resin Flower and Bow, and a Veneer crown.

Thats Four.......I can't remember the fifth?

This page had to be completed by 5 pm the same day....it was a time challenge too.

I've started painting my Kitchen and some furniture.....I love painting, I find it so relaxing. Its probaby one of the cheapest things to do as far as decorating goes........but it has major impact.

Auzz Trinklets N Kraft

Hi Crafty Friends,

My layout today is created using products from Auzz Trinklets N Craft.

Our Theme for the month of August is "Circles".

I have used stamps from the  Fabulous 'Altenew Vintage Flowers Stamp collection'. I absolutely love how with layering three contrasting colours , I have created these gorgeous flowers and leaves.

The title " Love' was die cut about fours times for added dimension....I wanted it to look like chip board. I used Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

I stamped flourishes, a little machine stitching, some tiny papers flowers and a sprinkle of " Nuvo Crystal Drops" .  Be sure to check out the fabulous range of colours from the STORE. My favorite would have to be the 'Matt finish' .......they look exactly like enamel dots and a lot cheaper!

Creating.....No Time to Blog

Hey Everyone,

I thought I'd show you a few projects that I have created recently but have had no time to add them here.

Two weeks ago my husband and I Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary....30 Years! 

Here is the Super Simple card I made for him. I was browsing Pinterest looking for ideas that were quick and easy....I came across this idea HERE, all you had to do was print it out...PERFECT! I searched Google for a Time and Date calculator, punched the numbers in...Ta Da........We have been married for 10'958 days  - 1'565 weeks - 262,992 hours - 15,779,520 minutes - 946,771,200 seconds. How cool its that!

I used my cricut to cut  four of each number, I stuck them together for extra dimension. Washi tape, a little stitching and a Heart shape paper clip..........done!

Next........You might remember this card from a few weeks ago?

I gave it to a close friend  for her Birthday.......I decorated a match box in the same papers.

I filled the draw with quotes that I found HERE. Just Print, Cut, Stick....they are the perfect size. 

I decorated the box so you could display a quote.

The tags were cut using my Cricut and Art Philosophy cartridge.

On Saturday morning I did a Scrapbook class with 'Cathy Cafun'

This is the gorgeous page we made. The colours were perfect to use a photo from my daughters wedding.

I have a few more things to share but I'll save them for another post!

Hey Everyone,

Hope you are enjoying a great weekend. I climbed a mountain today and found muscles I forgot I had.....I'm moving around very slowly tonight!

I'd like to share a layout that I created for Auzz Trinklets n Kraft

Our theme for the month of August is 'Circles and/or Stars.

I have used a circle stencil and texture paste on the background along with a stamp from 'Gabi's Circle Stitch Stamp Set'

Hello and Welcome

Paper Sweeties is celebrating its 4th birthday

Its Time to Party!

I am joining in the celebration to showcase some of Paper Sweeties super cute stamps and Sweet cuts.

My Daughter celebrating her Birthday

I have used PS Hello Spring sweet cuts for the 'donut' shape -  a sprinkle of chocolate and some and hundreds and thousands (seed beads) Sequins too.....for a little Sparkle!

The background was created with Heidi Swapp pink and gold colour shine. Lots of stamping with PS Hello Friend collection - Celebrate your day and Hip Hip Hooray sentiments. The tiny Hearts are from PS Mason Jar collection.

I thought " Happy" from PS Sweet cuts looked like Chocolate icing :)

The flowers on the Banner are from PS Hello Spring. I'm not sure, but I think the banner stamp has been discontinued?

Here is the inspiration Photo and Sketch for

  "Sketchy Boards" August Challenge

As you can see I was inspired only by the sketch....layering lots of tags, twine, crochet doilies and buttons. Love these pretty papers from Kaiser Tea Break collection.
