A few things

Hello Everyone,
What a busy start to this month! I've had no TIME !
Here and there I have created a few things but have not had a chance to add them here.
I have a few post up on the "Lets DECEMBER DAILY" blog.....I have shared my kit ideas HERE
Today I have photo's of my DD cover....Be sure to visit the 'Lets DECEMBER DAILY blog to see what I have created with all this.

And
Kraft Plus has a BIG challenge this month

As soon as I saw this I knew exactly what  photo I was going to use - Here is a
BIG Burger

I have used 'Block Party' cricut cartridge to cut the burger. Originally it was a single layer burger...I added extra layers, onion rings , cheese and sauce. First up I  had red paint dripping for tomato sauce...it kinda looked like blood ( even the kids told me that's what it looked like). So then I mixed some brown paint in with the red...a little barbecue sauce or beetroot juice now?
I used my type writer to write the ingredients of 'Bears famous Burger'.

This next week things are back to normal...I look forward to visiting you๐Ÿ˜Š

Happy Holidays

"Mint Wishes" is my new favourite Christmas collection from Kaiser

Such a pretty inspiration board for the October challenge.

Here I am on  holidays in Canada...these papers are perfect for snow photos!

I've used modelling paste and a stencil to add leaves to the background along with lots of extra die cut leaves and flowers. I really like the effect of layering the photo 3 times.

Sometimes I'm late posting.....this month I thought I'd be early๐Ÿ˜‰ ... so I can link up with Kaiser.

Spring Beauty

Its the end of October already...Christmas will be here before we know it!
So Happy I found some time to play along with the challenge at "Scrapping Outback"
Look at the  pretty colour palette

WHITE with Purple and lilac tones with a touch of yellow and grey or silver
Its Spring the Jacaranda trees are in bloom.....Love the pops of purple colour everywhere!

Merry Christmas

Hey Everyone,
I've been thinking about this challenge at Kraft Plus all month...I was in all directions! Then last night I decided on just a basic window on my page.

'I Can See Clearly Now'
Use something see-through on your layout.
Think vellum, plastic, glass, bubble wrap etc etc.

The hardest part of this page was finding a suitable photo!

The brick background design, window frame, flowers, and banner were all cut with my cricut. The branches and leaves were all cut using Tim Holtz dies. I also managed to add my favorite crochet doilies. ๐Ÿ˜The Christmas lights are rubons. My clear element is sequins and recycled packaging for the window panes.

Hope you are having a great week, thanks for visiting

Canada Eh!

The October challenge at Kaiser is to use this mood board as inspiration.

It was fun creating this double page layout

Canada Eh! is die cut from Cricut Go Canada cartridge. I have covered it in glitter.

"The Scrapbook Emporium " is a new store which has only been opened a few weeks. I visited it the other day and purchased the Kaiser collection 'Mint Wishes'. The papers are so pretty! Not only for Christmas but for my Winter holiday photos in Canada.

I followed this double page sketch challenge from The Scrapbooking Emporium.

No automatic alt text available.

I think I need to buy more of this Kaiser collection...I have so many snow photos to scrap!

Enjoy your week Everyone,

the MOMENTS we SHARE

Hey Everyone,
 Happy Monday to you!
Today I'm playing along with the second sketch of the month with "Lets get Sketchy"

This page coordinates with the layout in my previous post. The papers are an older Kaiser collection 'Sweet Nothings'

The flowers are a combination of stickers, die cuts and fussy cut from flowers from pattern paper. The hearts  are punched out from the same paper as the background ...I like the subtle texture they add!
I went back and added some hearts to my first page too.

Enjoy your week, Happy Crafting

A Moment in Time

Hello,
Today I'm playing along with "Lets Get Sketchy"

In February this year we visited Canada to surprise my Husbands father for his 90th Birthday. We enjoyed dinner at a restaurant called "Bistro Seven Seven". The building has a lot of old world charm. I've chosen pattern papers that would suit the decor.

Time to work on the adjoining page with the second sketch of the month.
Enjoy the weekend.......so nice of you to visit, Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

Explore

Hello,
I've just realized its been a few weeks since I have posted any thing here. This month I have been in so many different directions!!
But I've finally found some time to play along with a few challenges.

Challenge Yourself has this gorgeous Fall mood board

Its Spring here.......recently my husband and I did a road trip inland, every thing is so dry, in much need of rain! I thought these photos would work well for this challenge.

I have always loved climbing trees!

I'm trying really hard to stash bust! Going through a pile of rubons I found this "Nothing beats climbing a good TREE" ...perfect!
Explore is die cut with Create a Critter cricut cartridge.

For the past week it has been raining...lots of areas are flooding, hope we see the sun soon ๐Ÿ˜Š

Shine

Can you believe its the end of the month already?

"Scrapping Outback" challenge for September is WHITE with
Navy Blue tones, Grey and Kraft.

Blue is my favorite colour....so I had to squeeze this  challenge in!

The birds, butterfly , small flowers and flourish are all rubons.........I've been wanting to used this set up for some time now, the colours were perfect.
"Shine " is the chip board element.

I stamped the large flowers onto water colour paper, I used water colour crayons to colour them in........I'm calling the colour 'Pastel Navy' ? It was very dark navy when I started colouring.....I like the washed out look. The center of the flower really sparkle with diamond dust.

Its a long weekend coming up.....Enjoy and stay cool!

I'm really trying to do some 'Stash Busting'......the papers I've used are "Rose Garden" from Papermania.

Next...another sketch, this one is for "Kaiser"

More Stash Busting.....this is a very old Christmas collection from Kaiser.

Sisters

Hey Everyone,
So much for Spring weather....... we have skipped it and gone straight to Summer! The temperatures this weekend are in the 30 's, tomorrow they are expecting 35 c...which is a record for September.
So, if you are not at the beach keeping cool, inside in my craft space playing along with some challenges is a great place to be!

When I was young the photos my parents took were slides. Recently mum had some printed for me.......its fun to see these photos of my sister and I. How cute are our hats ๐Ÿ˜Š

I appreciated you stopping by....thank you

All Natural Beauty

Hello Crafty friends,
Kraft Plus has a wonderful challenge this month

What's the Buzz
Be inspired by Bees and/or  Amanda Hall's
BEE-RILLIANT graphic.

I loved everything about this graphic......Colour, bees and Hexagon shapes.
Sometimes what you plan in your head , just doesn't work on paper.....my first page ended up in the bin! So, this is 'Take 2'
Love this photo of my 2 daughters and their cousin taken last month, while they were visiting family in Canada. Its not often they get to see their cousins....they had an amazing time :)

The background overlay was cut out twice with Artbooking cricut cartridge. I glued the two layers together for extra dimension, then hand cut it into the shape I wanted. I embossed and inked a few of the cut out Hexagons then added them back into the design.

Art Philsophy cricut cartridge was used to cut the flowers and leaves, I've added a sprinkling of micro beads to the center. I couldn't believe I had some Bee Buttons in my stash....Perfect! I cut the back thingy off then added them to the center of the flowers....so cute!

Love these tiny doilies.....they always see, to find a place on most of my pages.
